Dr. Bean's English
Free 15 minute lessons for those that want to better their pronunciation, build their vocabulary and understanding when reading and speaking. If you want lessons, please JOIN and give the best time to do your lessons. When possible we will do google MEET. Our goal is to have fun while learning basic English.
What Do I Teach?
I teach English basics, helping with pronouncing words and reading. I use ABCs, phonics, vocabulary, verbs, simple grammar and the Bible to increase confidence as the student learns.
ABCs- Names of letters
I use a traditional ABC song-video from youtube to teach the ABC song. This song helps to also learn the culture a child faces as they grow up in America.
Decoding & word lists
Once you know the sounds each letter makes we will use that to form words and use spelling lists
Phonics- Sounds of letters
Phonics is the sound each letter makes. Students must master the sounds in order that they may be able to correctly sound out the sounds to form words.
Verbs
In order to form a sentence the student must know verbs and how to conjugate them.
