Family of Elahym (אלהים)
Family of Elahym*
*- The English spelling of Elahym is Elohim or Strong’s concordance Elohiym. I use and encourage other family members to write Elahym to distinguish themselves from the world.
We, the Family of Elahym, by definition to Christian and mainstream churches, would be considered as heretics and following heresy as our beliefs are contrary to theirs, which is true, because we believe in the Bible. Similarly, our members are considered “cult members” because we follow Elohym and Their only begotten son, Yehoshua. Christians follow an unnamed god to whom they pray, "Dear God..."
Our goal and primary focus is saving people in the name of Yehoshua. We encourage these believers to get baptized in his name, but is not required for Salvation, since baptism could be considered a “work”.
Look at our “Statement of Beliefs” to see if you’d like to join Elahym’s Family.
Our lives are guided by the teachings of Yehoshua with one “Commandment” required = LOVE.
We are not part of any “Hebrew/Holy Names” movement, however because God’s name is found in the Torah and it is written in Hebrew, we use the names given there. The fourth Hebrew letter of Elahym is a Yod and transliterates to a “Y”. I strongly suggest our family members use Elahym, in their writings, to distinguish them from the faulty theological teachings of Christians and uneducated “scholars”.
Likewise, I suggest the followers of Yehoshua move away from using the name, Jesus Christ, because the two are not the same people. Yehoshua is the son of Elahym, whereas Jesus Christ is “God, the Son”.
The “Christians’” Holy Spirit is a HE according to English translations. But, Ruach Elahym is the name provided for us in the second sentence of the Bible and is a SHE. Ruach (spirit, breath, wind) in Hebrew is a feminine noun, proving that the name Ruach Elahym is a female’s name.
Each child of Elahym has their own unique talents (callings) which Elohym will use to save others.
Yehoshua is Elohym’s only begotten son and They sent him to earth for one purpose, to become our savior. If we follow him we will do the same and dedicate our lives to saving others.
