God, the Father

The Father is the male half of Elohym Genesis 1:27

and His name is Yehovah Elohym, Genesis 2:4.

From the beginning translators removed the name Yehovah Elohym and replaced it with "LORD God" and whenever His name Yehovah (YHVH) was in the Tanakh, they replaced it with LORD.

Christians refer to Yehovah Elohym as: LORD God, God, the Father (1st person of the Trinity), Heavenly Father, Father, Dad/Daddy, Abba.  Some might even use Jehovah or Yahweh and less educated use some other form to denote their opinion on what YHVH is.

Jews won't address the name YHVH and replace it with Adonai, HaShem and other ways to avoid using this name.

Another name for Him is Melchizedek, Genesis 14:18 &           Hebrews 7:1-3. And there is an article about that.

He is the Avatar (face) for Elohym.  He has a physical form and He is the one who created Adam and extracted Eve from one rib.

He is a king and sits on a throne in Heaven.

When He wants something to be done He must call on Ruach Elohym (Holy Spirit) and She will do it as She is the Power of Elohym.

In my talks with Hebrew linguists they say that names beginning with these 3 letters YHV, are written as Yeho, hence the name Yehovah (for the Father) and Yehoshua (for the son).
